About This Rainy Fall Elopement at Mount Rainier
Is it even an adventure elopement if mother nature doesn’t through her spin during your wedding day? A & C had some crazy weather for their elopement but still managed to have an incredible time! This couple wanted to do their elopement at Mount Rainier National Park as they had never been there before in the late fall.
As mother nature often does in the fall in Washington, the week of their wedding was full of so much rain and snow that the Paradise Longmire entrance of Mount Rainier was closed.
We had to pivot and find some alternative locations near their AirBnB in Ashford. After driving through the woods and scouting for alternative spots outside of the park’s entrance, we found a beautiful river filled with all of the fall colors in the background. They re-shared their vows with each other and included their two beloved dogs for their elopement since it was outside of the national park’s boundary.
We then drove close to the entrance of the park that was open and took some photos over the Mount Rainier National Park entrance sign before playing with some night time photos including a fun champagne spray.
Despite the weather changing our initial elopement location plans A & C were troopers through it all and showed that you can still have a fun elopement without the initial location! I had so much fun capturing their day!
