From Engaged to Married on the Same Day: About This Moody Rainforest & Beach Elopement at Olympic National Park
Would you ever get married on the SAME day that you got engaged in? This couple did just that! After less than 8 hours of being engaged, they were married!
When A&B first reached out, I was a bit confused when I saw that they checked both the engagement and elopement boxes as far as photography services they were looking for. Once I met with them, I realized that this couple had been together for a long time but was not yet engaged. Instead of getting engaged and later down the road eloping, they decided why not do both of those things on the same day!
So we embarked to do just that! This couple got ready at their AirBnB before we met up in the Hoh Rainforest, one of Olympic National Park’s most beautiful elopement locations. We found the perfect arch where B got down on one knee and proposed! We explored the rest of the trail before splitting up and meeting them in a couple of hours for the elopement portion of their day!
I joined the couple again at their AirBnB where I captured them getting ready. Nothing like some good video games while getting your hair done! We then drove to the coast where we explored the beach before they said their vows, and had their wedding ceremony! They wanted some blue hour photos and we played around a bit before heading back.
