About this Whidbey Island Elopement
C & M wanted to have a spring elopement in Washington that was not too far from Seattle but at the same time in a beautiful location. It only made sense to go to one of my favorite islands in Washington: Whidbey Island! Although the San Juan Islands have their charm, the accessibility to Whidbey can’t be beat.
This couple decided to have their Whidbey Island elopement at Deception Pass State Park. This is one of the most beautiful parks in all of Washington, and it was even where my wife and I eloped back in 2022! So I may be biased, but it really is an incredible place.
This couple hired none other than Anne Timss for their make up who bravely got up with them at 3am in Seattle to look perfect. We then met at the trailhead at Deception Pass where they shared their vows at the top of the bluffs overlooking the sound.
Afterwards, we explored the island, they shared some cake, and signed their paperwork to make it official! It was truly a beautiful spring elopement! This couple showed that you don’t need to wait until summer to have that beautiful wedding or elopement! Spring is actually an incredible time to get married here in Washington.
