Let‘s Capture the Beauty

and Realness of Your Wedding

PLANNING + PHOTOGRAPHY
ONE OF A KIND ELOPEMENTS

AS SEEN ON

Your Wedding Shouldn’t Feel Like A Photoshoot.

What if it felt like the best day of your life instead?

Where your emotion and those real, heartfelt moments get perfectly captured.

Experience First. Photos Second.

Instead of spending all day non-stop posing, creating fake intimate moments to get “that perfect shot”, I prioritize your experience above everything else.

Because what I DO want to capture are these moments:

  • When you say something silly to your partner

  • When you start to ugly cry during your vows

  • When you open up and get to be yourselves as you enjoy the scenery together.

Photos full of raw emotions that you can’t help but feel the moment that was captured.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Doug is a phenomenal photographer whom not only takes amazing photos but also took very good care of us during our elopement.

He made our whole experience so smooth and stress free! The best part was that he gave us our time during our session to enjoy the scenery and time to ourselves. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best out of our elopement. We highly recommend Doug as an elopement photographer.”

Why Should You Elope in Seattle?

Don’t get me wrong, it takes guts telling your friends and family that you want a wedding experience that is focused on your love and commitment for each other and not an expensive traditional wedding. That , instead, you want a wedding without boundaries, expectations, or rules.

But imagine the freedom of having a wedding experience that is focused on just the two of you, your love for the outdoors, and doing something completely original and unique to you.

The beauty of eloping is that now ANYTHING is possible, and you can choose how you want to remember your day.

About Your Seattle Elopement Photographer

Hi! My name is Doug, your professional third wheel and new adventure buddy.

As a former special education teacher, I learned a thing or two about building connections, fostering trust, and making new friends with others.

I won’t be a stranger during your wedding experience, I’ll be a friend you can feel relaxed, comfortable, and safe to be yourselves around.

Growing up with Seattle and the Washington State mountains as my playground, I developed a strong attachment to the PNW and a love for the people who choose to lose themselves in it.

What Makes My Seattle Elopement Packages Different?

There are infinite possibilities on what your Seattle elopement would look like. Whether you want to hit the town, go on a romantic sunset sailboat ride, or want to elope in one of Seattle’s most famous parks, you seriously cannot go wrong with any location!

But planning for an elopement is stressful, I get it. I truly believe that many couples chose to elope to ditch the stress of planning a wedding (among other amazing reasons to elope). That’s why I have created a (damn near) all inclusive Seattle elopement packages for you.

How Does This Work?

Here’s how working with me looks like

1. We get to know each other to truly understand your vision and learn more about your dream wedding day

2. I get planning. Whether that’s researching locations and activities, or getting you quotes for local vendors and lodging I’ll be working hard behind the scenes to make sure that your elopement day goes off without a hitch.

3. You lean back and enjoy the ride while I capture the best adventure of your life!

More Kind Words

From Someone Who Also Chose to Elope:

Deception Pass elopement with dogs

With just 9 months left to our wedding day, we cancelled our big wedding and eloped instead. We broke away from what we felt society expected from us and were “supposed to have” for our wedding.

We camped, hiked, had our dogs join, drank endless mimosas, and even took a nap. It was absolutely perfect.

You don’t need perfection during your wedding, just presence with each other and those you love most.
