About this Sweet and Intimate Pacific Northwest Elopement
J & S contacted me just 10 days before the decided to elope. Yup, you read that correctly! This couple was originally going to have a simple courthouse ceremony but learned that their elopement can be so much more than a quick ceremony at the courthouse. Instead, they did what many people think is impossible: plan a beaufiul elopement in just 10 days.
This couple spent their morning getting ready with their close family members before we met at the Hoh Rainforest to do a ring exchange with their families present. They celebrated with a little bit of champagne back by the trailhead before signing their marriage certificate and making it official. They then wished their family goodbye before we drove to the Washington coast.
The weather was just what you’d expect for an early June day here in the Pacific Northwest, but these two lucked out with just a few overhead clouds that made the evening look truly magical! They shared a lovely picnic by the beach before reading their vows with just myself and the ocean as witnesses. Afterwards, they danced and explored the Washington coast before heading back. It was an incredible day!
These two showed that spontaneity works, so if something is telling you that there is more to your wedding or your elopement and you want to have a day to remember, listen! We can truly make that happen.
