About this Intimate North Bend Elopement
H & S wanted to elope close to their home town of Issaquah that was both beautiful and accessible so their close friends and families could join and be present for the ceremony. We found that the best place for them was Rattlesnake Lake! Located in North Bend, it’s both accessible and beautiful!
Both H & S got ready at their house where Anne Timms styled them to perfection. They each took different cars so we could do a first look in their wedding outfits. We explored some of the trails and got some portraits, and read their vows privately before meeting their friends and family for the ceremony.
Of course as mother nature does in the PNW, their day was filled with lots and lots of rain but these two smiled through it all. Their day was absolutely beautiful nonetheless. I had such a great time photographing this couple and their beautiful family!

Best North Bend Wedding Venues & Elopement Locations
The North Bend and Snoqualmie area is one of the most underrated wedding destinations in all of Washington. You're only about 45 minutes east of Seattle, but you feel a world away as you’re surrounded by the Cascade Mountains.
Here are some of the best North Bend wedding venues and elopement spots in the area:
1. Rattlesnake Lake — Best for Elopements & Intimate Ceremonies
This is where this elopement took place, and for good reason. Rattlesnake Lake sits at the base of Rattlesnake Ridge in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, just outside North Bend.

2. Meadowbrook Farm Preserve — Best Large Venue with Mountain Views
If you're looking for a full-service wedding venue in North Bend, Meadowbrook Farm Preserve is one of the finest in the entire Snoqualmie Valley.
This place has a great view of Mt. Si and there's room for a full wedding including your own food trucks. I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning spring wedding at Meadowbrook Farm and it's a venue I'd recommend for couples wanting a bigger wedding.
3. Salish Lodge & Spa — Best Iconic & Upscale Venue
Perched right at the top of Snoqualmie Falls, Salish Lodge is about as iconic as it gets in this part of the state.
Salish is a great choice for couples who want a more traditional, upscale wedding experience that still has those PNW vibes. It's also just a short drive from North Bend.
4. Gold Creek Pond — Best for Elopements & Adventure Sessions
Just a short drive past North Bend on I-90, Gold Creek Pond near Snoqualmie Pass is one of my favorite spots in all of Washington for elopements and intimate ceremonies. Keep in mind that this area is closed for restoration and is ONLY open during the winter time.
