Magical Summer Puyallup Wedding

More About this Puyallup Wedding

M & M wanted to get married in a wedding venue that could accommodate their guests but also provided an outdoor wedding experience. They fell in love with this wedding venue in Puyallup for the dreamy arches, the beautiful landscape, and for the ability to pitch a giant tent and have their ceremony and reception outdoors!

Although they got married at the end of June, they scored on a beautiful early summer day. The couple got ready with their closest friends and families before sharing a first look together. They held their ceremony and they added a sand ceremony, alternating the colors of the sand to symbolize their two families and lives blending together. After officially saying I do, they had a couple of drinks and began some toasts.

They then went out to the courtyard where they held their first dances and then invited the rest of the guests to join in! They had some sparklers for their grand exit and although the sunset late, it still felt like a Cinderella-like wedding! I had such a great time capturing their wedding!

Top 4 Wedding Venues in Puyallup, WA

If you’re planning a wedding in the Puyallup area, you already know how special this corner of Washington is. Between the views of Mt. Rainier, the lush gardens, and the mix of rustic and refined spaces, there’s no shortage of beautiful places to get married in.

Here are a few of my favorite wedding venues in Puyallup that all couples should consider getting married in:

1. Rock Creek Gardens

Rock Creek Gardens feels like it was designed for fairytale weddings in the Pacific Northwest. This private 20-acre estate blends English-inspired gardens with wild Northwest beauty. You’ll find moss-covered stone pathways, waterfalls, and 100-year-old cedar trees surrounding the venue every view. It’s a place where you can host an elevated wedding but still have the PNW outdoors charm.

2. Farm 12

Just minutes from downtown Puyallup, Farm 12 brings together rustic charm and modern design in the best way. The venue sits on a restored tulip farm, so you get those open-field views and Mt. Rainier in the distance, but with an elegant event hall and greenhouse space that work perfectly in any season. They provide a farm-to-table catering and bar service in-house, which makes things super convenient for couples.

3. Love’s Manor

Love’s Manor is a five-acre property tucked between Puyallup and Orting, surrounded by peaceful gardens, a pond, and a view of the foothills. The outdoor ceremony space is intimate and lush, while the reception tent lights up beautifully once the sun dips below the trees. It’s perfect for couples who want a classic garden wedding that still feels personal and laid-back.

4. Pioneer Park Pavilion

If you’re planning something a little smaller or more urban-inspired, Pioneer Park Pavilion in downtown Puyallup is a great option. The venue—which can be reserved by the City of Puyallup—has a clean, industrial feel with wood beams, big windows, and an adjoining outdoor patio that’s perfect for golden-hour portraits.

Each of these venues offers something unique — from the grand gardens of Rock Creek to the cozy farm aesthetic of Farm 12. Whether you’re drawn to outdoors, the elegant indoor spaces, or a little bit of both, Puyallup has a venue that fits your wedding vision perfectly.
