About This Adventurous Mount Rainier Proposal
B contacted me a few months earlier as he and his now fiancée were traveling from out east with a group of their friends to Mount Rainier National Park. He fell in love with this location and found it to be the best place to propose in the Seattle area.
I blended in with the crowds when we arrived, and as good friends do, when they found the perfect spot to propose, his friends made sure the people on the trails gave them space for B to propose to K.
She was totally shocked and I was so excited getting to have captured Mount Rainier in full bloom in the background of their Mount Rainier proposal. We explored the rest of the trail where we saw so much wildlife including bears, mountain goats, chipmunks!

Mount Rainier Proposal Locations with the Best Views.
1.) Tipsoo Lake: Tipsoo sits near Chinook Pass on the east side of the park and is a favorite for sunset. Check out this fall engagement session at Tipsoo Lake for inspiration!
2.) Sunrise Point: Sunrise is the highest spot in the park you can reach by car, at about 6,400 feet. From Sunrise Point and the nearby trails you get wide views of Rainier, Emmons Glacier, and the Cascades beyond. The road is seasonal, typically open late June or early July through late September.
3.) Paradise and Myrtle Falls: Paradise is the most popular area of the park for a reason. But it’s also very busy, so go early and on a weekday.
